"Mother's Harem," A New Isekai Anime Series, Has Shocked The Anime Fans

Is the Isekai Genre Becoming Boring?

For some readers, the Isekai topic has grown a little boring since it has been utilized so frequently in the anime, manga, and light novel industries.

The usual storyline of the main character being reborn on a new planet, beating the bad guys, and getting the lady at the end has started to become a little shaken up by authors to keep their audience intrigued.

They do this to keep the genre interesting and new.

Why are Anime Fans surprised by Mother's Harem Anime?

The upcoming manga series “Yuusha ni zenbu ubawareta ore wa yuusha no hahaoya to Party kumimashita” (Everything was taken away by the hero I formed a party with the hero’s mother), which is a straight adaptation of the light novel, startled anime fans.

This manga tells the tale of a hero who forms a party with the mother of another hero, as the title indicates, with the twist that this party is formed solely for MOMs. The readers' curiosity has undoubtedly been peaked by this novel interpretation of the Isekai genre.

Mother's Harem Anime Story Plot:

The series' central figure is a 42-year-old man who is reborn as a child in a different universe (the story takes place when he becomes a 14-year-old boy). The life expectancy on this new magical planet is 50 years, and girls older than 17 are viewed as adults.

The protagonist's friend goes on a journey to become the hero and form a party with the protagonist.

The hero's private involvement with the girl, who was dating our protagonist, however, caused things to get out of hand. His hero friend and the girl companion both persuaded the other party members to expel our protagonist to conceal their affair by claiming his weakness and lack of strength as the explanation.

The protagonist couldn't bring himself to disagree, even though he knew he was the weakest link in the group, and he eventually left the party in disgrace.

Our protagonist didn't appear to worry much about the fact that his mother was replaced with a younger lady when his father decided she was no longer attractive because he wasn't especially close to his mother, to begin with. The main character decided to start a new party with the MOMs of his former party members to get revenge on his old party.

The main character thinks that joining a group of ladies over the age of 18 would be a fulfilling act of retaliation because it seems that no one values women over the age of 18 in this magical world.
